I have just bought a brand new pc, installed cm01/02 and it doesnt load. The operating system is XP but it worked on my old comp with XP. Ive tried loading the GDI file but that still doesnt work. It tells me i need service pack 3 but i feel like ive downloaded every service pack 3 there is!
Can anybody help? I hear a network game calling me :-(

Its ok people ive sorted it out. I had to click properties on cm0102.exe, click compatibility and check win98/me.
Seems xp doesnt always recognise older products.

Thanks, dude101. I've had a new PC with Windows XP for 2 months and I've been trying to get CM01/02 to work on it since the first day. Your advice did the trick.

Can I suggest something that may help other people with the same problem. As originator of this thread, you can edit the title if you edit your first post. Do you think you could rename it to something like "Getting CM01/02 to work on Windows XP". Thanks again.

Will this be the same for Cm03/04?

I have loaded from the same cd onto my desktop (98) and my laptop (xp). No problems with the desktop, but the laptop saved games keep failing when i try to load them. occasionally it works partly, but i can;t go to manager options or training, which is not a lot of use!!

i've deleted the whole thing from the lappy, and i'll try again with the Windows 98/me thing ticked.......
