i've played for about 6 or 7 hours of the demo now so have a fairly good idea of how the game will be.

i find no enjoyment at all in playing as a "big club" as its far too easy and always has been. after a while you know which players are the ones to buy and how to scout for the future so after 3 or 4 seasons it becomes boring doing the same things and winning everything.

so usually my first big game has been with the club i support (sheff wed). this usually is a lot harder as they have no money and generally a poor championship squad (which for some reason this season seems to be a poor league 1 squad making it far harder and very unrealistic). So im not sure if i will ever actually get any sucess with any tactics of my own in this version.

that usually gets me used to the new match engine in order to start up a new lower league management game for a 20+ season save. However at the moment with the injury bug this just isnt possible ( i know this should be sorted by the patch, but how can the game be released at all when its quite clearly unplayable). once all patched up (which still might not fix everything, thinking back to the last "first patch" which in my opinion made 08 worse). its also looking like it will take me a few days play time to finish a season if i want to use the 3D match, which for me is the only reason to buy this version as not much else is different from 08. Press conferences are just the same as the media questrions from before (but there are more of them) and tactics seem much less variable (due to the smaller arrows).

The only thing i can say is a definate improvement is it making it a lot easier to make those in your first team who were not selected for a match available to play for the reserves.

so all in all i can only see myself enjoying a long lower management game on this version. but i know i dont have the time to do this anymore as its so much slower and i dont have the money to upgrade my PC.

Therefore i shall be looking for a good update for this season for any of the 06, 07 or 08 versions and not buying this new one.

Thanks.

Why do people keep saying they wont buy it for the most stupid of reasons. Sheffield Wednesday are shit anyway so im not surprised you did crap with them. No one really cares whether you will buy the game or not. Its only a game, its not like it is an important part of your life, so much that if you dont get it, you'll die or something. Go away :nono:

Settle down idiot he has every right to express himself, who the #%* are you to tell him otherwise.

He didn't need to start a thread about it though.
