The German team, managed by Joachim Lowe are about to enter Euro 2012. Mr Lowe has just picked his 23 man squad, with a few minor surprises (to me at least)

My laptop has decided to stop working, and tell me that I don't have a hard drive connected to it, so I won't be posting anything until I sort that out. Anyone else is welcome to include their own "future national squads" and once I am back up and running I will post another national squad.

In a copy of Euro 2012, Holland were and finished bottom of their group which contained Croatia, Italy and France (another group of death!)

After a poor showing, Van Marwijk was sacked and Schalke boss took up the reins having to rebuild a shattered footballing powerhouse.

The World Cup qualifying has not started well for Huub Stevens as the Oranje have lost their first 2 games to Turkey (2-0) and to Romania (1-4) and Huub Stevens has been forced to make changes to the team and hope that Dutch spirits can be raised with an away victory in Talinn, Estonia.

The squad contains 23 players, the date is 13 October 2012, and all players are real players. This should mostly be simple, but there are quite a few curveballs in the team, one in particular, who I don't expect anyone, except maybe someone who follows the dutch league very closeley to get.
