CM 01/02 for Macintosh

Hi guys!

I've been playing Championship Manager 01/02 for a whole lot years on my Windows PC, but now I got hold of an PowerBook from Apple and as I bought I saw the nice offer of CM 01/02 (I paid just around 10 pounds) and I could not stand it, so I just bought.

Now I'm wondering whether I'm stranded with the original game and no updates or is there a way of updating the the game with the official patches and sawcuk and so on.

Please, if anyone has any experience with running CM 01/02 on a Mac, I would be glad to hear just something.

I see that Feral Interactive made a 3.9.65 update (http://www.thedugout.tv/community/showthread.php?t=6855), but not an 3.9.68 like the PC-version.

And still, what about sawcuk and others.. can I get hold of these?

I'm sure some gay person (joke) by the name of Viles will be able to help you with this as he is a bit of a mac freak.

Yes I have a mac update on my computer, I see you found the .65 patch. However I would wait till the next update comes out and if somebody makes a .zip version (none of this .exe stuff) ill make a mac version. I did have it on the internet but the link is now dead

After installing the update I get problems starting the game.. When I want to create a new game I get an error which closes the game

Aren't just suppose to copy the files from the .sit-file into my data folder?

All I do is copy and paste files into the data folder and It works

Hello there!

New to all this forum stuff, so I'm sorry if I'm about to miss anything out.

I'm trying to run CM 01-02 on Mac. I had CodeWeavers running a while back and the program worked fine. However since then I think I ran a few uninstallers and didn't renew my subscription with CW.

Anyway, very keen to play the best version of CM/FM again. I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and tried to set up CM 0-02 very much the same way I had before , but the lines are flasing on the home page of CM. It seems to be a problem CW are looking at but nothing yet. It seems to be a problem with the new OS and version of CW. Does anyone have a better way of running CM on Mac that will work.
