When I run CM0102.exe i seem to encounter an error and I cannot undestand why. It says in the error box:
The exception Integer division by zero. (0xc0000094) occured in the application at location 0x10001b9c Has anyone previously had this problem? Im running Windows XP (last time I played was on my old computer with Windows 98), and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times to try and fix the problem but it doesnt seem to work. Ive also tried reinstalling Direct X from the CM 01/02 disk and it hasnt helped. I saw on another post that a person was recommended to download the latest patches, but I dont know where to find any patches except the sigames.com website, and the one patch I have downloaded from there I cannot run. I get an error saying it is not a valid win32 application. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

This is a very bizarre as division by zero is a serious error that shouldn't be present in the game.
You can find the 3.9.68 patch for CM01/02 at http://www.thedugout.net/download.php?cmv=7&cat=1. You may also want to download the latest version of DirectX and the latest drivers for your graphics card too.

Try downloading a fresh copy of cpuinf32.dll from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...shtml?cpuinf32 (back-up the original first).

Richie the only thing I can think of is you have a computer virus. Errors like that should be picked up by the compiler when SI are coding Championship manager.

Try www.champman0102.co.uk, they have a much more dedicated board than this section here.

You should be able to just download it. Try googling CM0102.exe, or I think www.championshipmanager.co.uk, allows you to LEGALLY download the original game for free so maybe try a full reinstall.

I'm not sure, anymore details on this? Try right clicking on the icon and run in an older compatibility mode.
