Huddlestone and Berbatov

These two are both very good players in their positions, but are sort of 'different' to your standard DM and ST. How would I use them?

Berbatov

Basically I want him coming deep, moving across the defensive line, with Bent/Defoe pinning defenders back. I want him to move the ball out wide and then get into the box. How would I set this up? His PPMs are rounds keeper, and more importantly plays with back to goal and likes ball played to feet. They sound good; coming to get the ball and moving it wide like I said.

I'm thinking mentality of around 10, lots of creative freedom, hold up ball. I don't know what to do with through balls, run with ball and forward runs though. Passing maybe the highest short, closing down rarely?

Huddlestone

I played a, er, test game with Huddlestone as the defensive CM instead of someone like Zokora. I reduced his closing down from full to about 14 or so. Tackling mixed instead of hard. Maybe we just had an off day, but we were 0-3 down to Villa in 30 minutes.

So is it possible to use him as a DM and still keep a good defence, or should I use him like a Fabregas; as the attacking CM but not someone who bombs forward all the time? He has similar stats, not as strong but his best stats are in the same areas (passing, technique, composure, creativity).

So how would I set him up as a Fabregas? Forward runs often to join the attack, or mixed so he comes deeper to find the ball (one of his PPMs)? High creative freedom obviously, but should he hold up/run with ball to wait for options, or look for a pass quickly?

They're potentially two of my best players but they're 'odd'. Any help appreciated.

Any ideas here? Particularly with the Berbatov position, I've sold him but I want Keane to do a similar job.

I cannot get a striker dropping deep and making things happen effectively.
