Default 01/02 failing to run

After a stint on FM08 I've decided to go back to 01/02, however on running after installation I get the following errors:

v3.9.60 Langlib..cpp 389
v3.9.60 game_config..cpp 84

The game then will not load up. I tried patching but I get the same errors (.68 replacing .60).

I've played the game on the same PC before so I don't know why there's a problem.

Help appreciated.

for XP:
You need to delete the CM environment varible to do this..

Right click on my computer > properties > advanced tab > environment variables > Find the variable relating to CM3 and delete it.

For 98: find autoexec.bat and delete the line refering to CM3"

Try that.

I've got the same problem, I'm on Vista. I did what your post said Smiffy but can't find any variable relating to 01-02?

EDIT: Never mind, fixed.

Default Which Environmental Control?

Hi,

not sure if this thread will still get any activity but i'm having the same problem while trying to go back and play an old favourite.

How do I know which environmental control relates to champ man 00/01?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lads,
Will the cm01/02 download work on Linux Ubuntu?
If it does, I can say goodbye to ever learning anything in college

You shouldn't of got it on ebay - all of its completely free and downloadable from the CM0102 site.

Extract the patch and then add the update again. You should be fine then.
