I looked through the players forum and cound'nt find anybody make a thread about him, I finally signed him for Man City after 4 seasons, Cost 53 million, hes on 160,000 a week. Man is a beast from AMR, 13 starts, 8 goals, 15 assists. Hes hard to get thought. Tried to sign him every season. I could always get Barca to expect, but Messi never wanted to come, even when he did finally come, he still said he did not want to discuss terms.

Great player, must must buy

I got him for 37m minimun fee release clause for Man City and he's been pretty good chips in with his fair share of goals and assists, I play him on the AML as there is no LM or AML in my tactic but I might look to fit him and Ronaldo in (

The trick to unsettle him is to bid twice for him as he has Barcelona as his favoured club. The first attempt should fail, but by the second try he should be concerned over Barca's willingness to listen to bids for him and should be ready to sign up.

While it is true that most people will already be fully aware of Messi that doesnt mean he doesnt deserve his own thread.

Different people will have differing experiences of the player and have their own opinions of where and how to play him.

Messi is a great player....but how does he perform in EPL? EPL needs a more robust player (or so i believe).....
and how is he compared to C.Ronaldo (as a rt. winger) and Kaka (as an AM)?

Anyway, I think that 53mil is waaaay too much to spend on one player, I could buy a whole team with that much money.

What I find is that often, one player doesn't make a huge difference to your team's performance, whereas two or three almost always do.

£106m, £155,000 p/w for Man City and worth every penny. Rather talk about how to get the best out of him. The guy defo needs to be played on the left, he plays in real life on the right and cuts in on his left but in this game that wont make much difference, the key thing is he's left footed, to get the best out of him play on the left, the guy finds somebody with a left footed cross every time, scores freekicks etc - in his first season got 20 gls and 18 assists, European Player of the year, together with Marquinhos and a generated player called Kevin Whitbread and single handedly won me the league over a dominant Arse-nal side. Left without a doubt
