Default I think I've completed the internet...

Been a while since we've had one of these. What do you guys do while browsing the net and more specifically while using TTH? I'm sure most of us started as I did with FM and MSN running simultaneously but I've stopped playing the former and have lost interest in what my comrades have to say on facebook so am left twiddling my thumbs while pressing F5 with my tongue. This obviously is more relevant to those who spend large parts of their time here as opposed to just ten minutes ever now and then.

Webcomics. Lots and lots of webcomics.

I just discovered that Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal has alt-text, so that should take care of the next few weeks.

I'm mainly just on here and MSN.

Bit odd that I spend so much time effectively talking rubbish. Then again, I've learnt a hell of a lot from TTH.

So, err, yeah, cheers all.

Only if it's something you actually have to pay attention for. Easy going comedies and such can be on in the background.

No, a film isn't meant for background viewing. Even easy going comedies require your full attention and involvement or else you lose out on the experience and it merely transforms into sketch comedy.

Films should never be multitasked in my opinion. Unless it is an incredibly horrible film of course.

Umm, I tend to browse the same websites over and over again.

A few forums,
Facebook,
Football news, (teamtalk.com)
Film news, (empiremovies.com)
Software/computer news,(lifehacker.com)
Pirate release news,
Email.

Other than here? Read the BBC website, email, watch stuff on iPlayer, erm, that's about it.

TTH is by far the most worthwhile thing on the internet as far as I'm concerned; if it didn't exist, and assuming I hadn't joined some other forum in its place, I really wouldn't be much of an internet user at all.

I've been playing FM09 a bit recently, but I'm shit, so having been sacked for the third time I doubt I'll go back.

My time is spent mostly on MSN, Facebook and TTH, then a few other sites. Always have music on in the background, and sometimes I'll play on the PS3 whilst doing all of these things.

Downloading is so 2004. Facebook is so 2008, and porn is so 1998.

TTH is as yet timeless.

I can't bear to use the internet at home because I use it so much in work. Recession = quiet times in government = no work to do = refreshing BBC Sport every 5 minutes in the hope of a shock transfer.

Those who are out of love with FM, you should try a network game.

Been playing with my Cousin in a network game for the past 5-6 years & plus you can have banter about FM while using MSN etc.

Aye, I was on that for a long time but my laziness to buy FM09 put an end to that as it's too hard to get patched cracked versions.

A TTH network game

A bit over a year ago or so Tokey tried to arrange a TD network game with something like 10 people. We made it just about through pre-season before it fell apart.

Even me, John and Towny had trouble trying to maintain a network game a while back because we couldn't be online at the same hours.

Do you not know anyone with it? The five installs and no need for a disc means that 4 of my mates got it for free.

Oooh, wasn't aware of such a tactic. Can't you just buy it then return it then? Too late now anyway, maybe for FM10.

I had a great eleven season save with Liverpool on this version. Six European Cups.

Still, I haven't loaded that game for a good three weeks now. I have this window open, then I'd generally flick around the BBC website, NewsNow, another forum occasionally and MSN.

I had a cracking 18 season save with Produta, Millwall, Newcastle and Germinal Beerschot on the go. The game then decided to fuck the save up weeks after I beat Anderlecht and looked like I was going to break their 10 season stranglehold on the league. Barely played since.

Fuck sake, this talk of random obscure small teams has proper made me want it now. Might have to look into it now. I definitely need something to break up the revision/work at the minute, so dull.

Every edition gets slower and slower. Soon enough I'll be putting in more hours than Fergie just getting through pre-season.

I play FM and either play Xbox, watch TV or put a film on that I don't have to pay much attention to.

I'm currently watching WW2 Behind Closed Doors, but I could probably get by just fine with only TD/TTH & FM.

EDIT: I currently have eight tabs open that I have to catch up on, seven from TTH and one from the FM sections, so yeah, I could definitely do fine with just this place.

I have FM on at some point, but probably play the Xbox 360 more often.
I'm on another forum as well, but don't really bother posting, it's more for music and music news.
If I really need a laugh I go and read Red Cafe for three minutes.
Normally have some music on or watch a film/read a book as well.

Patch up to 9.2 as 9.3 took the fun out for me due to lack of shit regens, by the time was 2018 the opposition teams was pure site.

This is true.

There are an alarmingly poor number of good regens in later years.

I once started a network game with Phonics that lasted all of five minutes until my internet died. I'm pretty sure I would have won anyway.
