When I click on a player and then the 'Attributes' screen, nothing of the info below the player image shows up. When I click back and and then open his 'Attributes' screen again, it's all there.

What I mean exactly...

Whenever I assign around 100 players or more to a scout or add them to the scouting pool it either takes really long before FM reacts again or sometimes it even crashes... This is really annoying as it is a certain way of scouting which I often used in previous versions and helped me a lot. The computer shouldn't be the problem as it is brand new and has high specs.

I'm not sure if its the game or my computer, but when I'm trying to load the demo today the game goes through its normal setup where it shows SI, SEGA, ... and the leagues. But right after tha it shuts down and goes straight to my desktop I've tried both the desktop icon and opening it through Steam. FM11 loads up no problem, any ideas? Reinstall perhaps...

It's due to your screen size and resolution.

I've got a 15 inch laptop screen and I can only see the information lines between the attributes and the statistics if I "unlock" the Windows taskbar from being on top all the time. This puts FM into a full screen window as the extra few lines it gives me allows me to see the full picture.

The only problem I've found so far is when I Alt-Tab out of the game it seems to stop if there's a match in progress. The match doesn't seem to progress until I tab back into the game. This didn't haoppen in FM 2010 or 2011.

Jason, if you run the game in windowed mode games do not pause when alt-tabbed. If you're running full screen they pause when you tab away

Sadly thats not the issue for me! I tried it in full screen and still had the problem. I didn't mention this in the first post, but when I first load up FM it works and shows up with all the info, its only after the running the game for a little it just decides to stop showing up!! I'm on steam on a mac if that changes anything :/

I do believe that Steam has caused an issue with my game...

Last night, game working brilliantly. I save and exit, shut down my laptop and go to bed.

I wake up this morning, turn on laptop try to run FM and I'm informed Steam has been a retard and somehow magically broken itself while it was turned off... Went onto the Steam website, followed the instructions...

FM runs..... go to transfer center.. see I've now magically got £3.3 BILLION to spend..., check the budget adjustments and I still have my £6 million left..

No matter what I do after that.. I get a crash dump!

If a Steam crash has caused my FM save to fuck up.. I will kill people!

This is fucking annoying me now. Anyone else managing in Spain?

For some reason after the initial squad numbering pre-season I cannot then assign a squad number to some youth players. Both players are registered with the first team, and I have plenty of spare numbers.
Now, during trying to work out what happened - I took a number of a youth player, then it wouldn't let me re-assign him a number. Now he can't play for my first team again. Fucking gay - my squad is thread-bare as it is.

I have a striker, who every time I look is set to position training for the AMC role. I set it to none, then the next time I look, he's training for the AMC role again, *and* he's unhappy with the work load.

Bug I found is with match preperation. If you master a tactic, and you create a new tactic from the one you mastered and save as a different tactic, and switch back to the one you mastered before, it somehow forgot you already fully mastered that one and it resets back to formation: awkward or somesort.

had one game whereby the screen brightness was so bad i couldn't see the pitch, and the players were just outlines, games either side of it were fine, was coming into december so i'm thinking it might be some issue with the weather settings.

It could be blocked whilst it downloads and then installs the patch. Obviously you won't be able to play it until that has finished.

I don't know if this is a bug necessarily but I have no idea where else to post it.

Does it seem like the players slide just a little bit too long when they're on the ground? (if a player goes down on a foul, or if a keeper dives for the ball...?)

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but here goes:

I signed Ruud Van Nistelrooy to a coaching contract after he retired at the end of the 2nd season. He is listed under the staff tab on the club, but doesnt appear in the coaches section of the Training tab.

Is there something that I'm missing, or is this a bug?

So for some reason my game crashed when I was saving and the save wouldn't load.

I started a new game and it wouldn't let me save.

I re-installed the game and now when I try and start it I get re-directed to an internet page telling me my game isn't a genuine copy!

Hi, that happened all the time for me too!!! Really annoying! However after clicking preferences>general and going on default player section I swtiched it from profile to attributes and I found that I had the height, weight and all that other stuff for the player back!! Hopefully I explained it properly and other people can finally fix this!

(Sorry if someone else already said this, I seen this a few days ago and have been trying to fix it on my own game first, thought I'd help!!)

I'm trying to sign a Brazilian based in Mexico, but I can't appeal the WP...

And no, it's not on deadline day. I've had three bids accepted, scouts telling me he'll probably get it upon appeal, and each time the first application gets shot down I get the option "you can sign this player now and loan him out for the time being".

I don't think this is so much a big with FM, but perhaps it could be an error related to the games memory in the mac version.

I keep getting "FM has run out of virtual memory and needs to shut down" errors, these will happen mid game when things are running smoothly, or at the end of the game after a very stuttery and laggy game. I can't really explain it as my laptop is definitely powerful enough to run FM, and I had no such problems in FM 11. I don't even play with 3D mode anymore in an attempt to combat this, but still there is no luck.

The reason why I think it might be a problem with memory coding or whatever is because the game generally starts to run very slowly after I make a substitution, but will work fine before that. Seems very dodgy to me and I would love it if someone like Mark knew of any solutions.

I'm quite confident it is not an issue with my computer's spec as it's just a year old MacBook Pro.

I had a friend having the same issue, I think he's fixed it now though, I'll ask him how he did it.

I had this problem with a previous version (ended up buying a new laptop). If memory serves me right you have to increase your virtual memory (google how) and then access task manager and set FM as 'high performance' (again google the specifics). Worked for me but eventually the computer collapsed of old age.

I keep getting red message (response needed) due to the fact that as David Beckham has signed a new contract with LA and changed his squad status, a new squad registration will be required.
I'm managing Barca - Beckham is still at LA.

Obviously, there isn't a option to do anything - accept or confirm anything - the message just stays as un-responed to, which means whenever I press coninue it flicks to that message first,

Annoying.

This is ridiculous. I have a player not registered for my A team, but when I try to move him to my B team, it tells me that he is registered for a higher team. He isn't. This game is almost becoming unplayable.

I am getting a relatively irritating although very minor problem concerning the national squads of the Faroe Islands. (I did say it was a minor issue)

The main squad is using greyed out keepers instead of calling anyone up, and the under 21 and under 19 squads are completely full of greyed out players.

I am playing in the Faroe leagues created by Mark so there is plenty of players to choose from, I am not sure if there has to be a minimum standard for players to meet and therefore it automatically only picks greyed out players but it is really annoying that my keeper for example who is dominating the league with loads of clean sheets and who has been capped in the past isn't even getting into the squad because it would rather pick a greyed out player. The same for my youth players who are having greyed out players picked over them despite playing well.

Surely there is/should be a system where 'greys' are only used when there isn't alternatives?

After the transition to the 2nd season my u23 (1860 Munich) became invisible. If I select the team I see the same players as in my u19 squad. I had to use FMRTE to find the names of my u23 players , search them in game and move them to my senior squad.

It was kinda annoying.

I started a new game and it wouldn't let me save. I've had three bids accepted, scouts telling me he'll probably get it upon appeal, and each time the first application gets shot down I get the option "you can sign this player now and loan him out for the time being". Charlie International TD Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Taipei City Country: Posts: 17,136	I don't think this is so much a big with FM, but perhaps it could be an error related to the games memory in the mac version. I keep getting "FM has run out of virtual memory and needs to shut down" errors, these will happen mid game when things are running smoothly, or at the end of the game after a very stuttery and laggy game. I can't really explain it as my laptop is definitely powerful enough to run FM, and I had no such problems in FM 11. I don't even play with 3D mode anymore in an attempt to combat this, but still there is no luck. The reason why I think it might be a problem with memory coding or whatever is because the game generally starts to run very slowly after I make a substitution, but will work fine before that. Seems very dodgy to me and I would love it if someone like Mark knew of any solutions. I'm quite confident it is not an issue with my computer's spec as it's just a year old MacBook Pro. __________________ If bambi pokes the lion, what he expects? the lion to help him skate on ice?

I'm managing Barca - Beckham is still at LA. Obviously, there isn't a option to do anything - accept or confirm anything - the message just stays as un-responed to, which means whenever I press coninue it flicks to that message first, Annoying. __________________ PALIN 2012

I have a player not registered for my A team, but when I try to move him to my B team, it tells me that he is registered for a higher team. He isn't. Townsend In The Tactics Truck TD Member Join Date: Sep 2010 Country: Posts: 3,386	I am getting a relatively irritating although very minor problem concerning the national squads of the Faroe Islands. (I did say it was a minor issue) The main squad is using greyed out keepers instead of calling anyone up, and the under 21 and under 19 squads are completely full of greyed out players. I am playing in the Faroe leagues created by Mark so there is plenty of players to choose from, I am not sure if there has to be a minimum standard for players to meet and therefore it automatically only picks greyed out players but it is really annoying that my keeper for example who is dominating the league with loads of clean sheets and who has been capped in the past isn't even getting into the squad because it would rather pick a greyed out player. The same for my youth players who are having greyed out players picked over them despite playing well. Surely there is/should be a system where 'greys' are only used when there isn't alternatives?

If I select the team I see the same players as in my u19 squad. I had to use FMRTE to find the names of my u23 players , search them in game and move them to my senior squad. It was kinda annoying.
